Try hotscripts.com, I have seen a few listed there if i am not wrong.

I've been searching, and customization is the bitch I've been running into. you can have either really simple and tons of customization, or feature packed and its gonna look like crap :bawling:

Xcent is the most popular in asp / vb / access, but I think there is a MS SQL version... I have played with it, and its pretty nice but...

Thanks, I think I am probably going to go with a PHP/MySQL product if possible.

I've tried it, it works though its ugly and extremely hard to customize. I'd recommend having a host that can turn php safemode off for your site, otherwise users won't be able to upload pictures of their auctions.
Also I didn't see a feature if you wanted to charge a price to sell/buy ect.. I could have overlooked it though.

I know you where looking for something PHP but I use a Perl Auction script and it dont seem all that bad.

The script is called Makebid, it can be purchased at www.usanetcreations.com for $100 I believe.

I have it setup here www.AucNic.com (not finished), just hit the CATEGORIES link and you will see it in action.

The look right from the get go aint all that hot but with some customisation she should work out fine.

No offense to you, you didn't write the script so don't take this the way it sounds, but they really could have added a little more pizazz to the look of the layout. Maybe they left it plain figuring whomever implements it would clean it up... I suppose that makes sense. :)

That script you are using would look real nice designed to integrate with a site with a good fit. I might try that one out sometime.

But you really must view the support forums as some people are moaning, under it all, it seems a good package even if the guy is still fixing things, might be good in a few months.

I was actually lookign for a site like this.. In the old days i use to use Matt's Sript Archive and CGIresources. I still go there but always looking for new resources like this.
