View Full Version : WorldPay - Are these guys really OK?

I have a merchant account with WorldPay. I have had it for more than two years and have not had problems until recently. Their remittances used to come in promptly. Since few months ago, they have been both very fast and very slow (mostly slow).

I have had remittances come in as fast as a day. But lately it has been taking 10 days or more. Also, one payment went missing in June and it has taken until last week for me to finally receive it. I had to do some real arm twisting too. When I first realszed the payment was missing, they told me I had to trace it at my end. My bank refused and finally I got WorldPay to do it. After finally getting that payment, now I have another one gone missing.

I am wondering if there are any other WorldPay merchants out there who are experiencing similar problems?

We have been experiencing slow remittance ourselves, however, it was explained to us once.. I just didn't quite get it. My partner did, and I suppose thats all that matters? We are supposed to be remitted every 4 weeks, but its more like 6.

What I mean is, after they email you to notify of a remittance, it seems to take longer than it used to. One of my payments of more than $1,000 got lost and I had to wait 3 months to get it cleared up. They left me out in the cold.

Oh, I see. Actually this happened to us. We had switched banks and sent in the appropriate forums and were told everything was ok. We then got the remitance email, and days later nothing still. Turns out it was sent to the old account. We had to go through the whole process again. We have had to call singapore quite a few times to sort out issues, but they do seem to be getting there act together. No problems to report. Hopefully the bank that purchased WP will improve things to come. All I can say is contact them and try and get to the bottom of the issue as best you can or find a new merchant.

The last company I worked for used WorldPay as their credit card processor. At the time we had no complaints.

I havent noticed anything like this happen to us with worldpay, and we have been using them for about a year now.
