**TEMPLATE IS SOLD!**
![]() | View Full Version : *CLEARANCE* Steal this highly professional template for next to nothing... Azaloth 09-16-2002, 07:14 PM **TEMPLATE IS SOLD!** Boris 09-16-2002, 07:50 PM OMG, that is the sweetest template I have ever seen, and considering what you're charging it's a steal! If I had a website, I'd buy it right away =) Good luck selling it! KStudios 09-16-2002, 08:00 PM the background makes some of the text look funny..... till the white background comes up :) phpcoder 09-16-2002, 08:04 PM Very colorfull :) That is a steal :D bandwidth 09-16-2002, 09:25 PM wow...i really like that. Its very unique. nice job! thesmallguyshost 09-16-2002, 11:38 PM what about an entire site? i don't understand all the offers for templates. if someone could design the rest of the site they can do a front page. you can't edit that template have every single page be identical but just change the text. do you have additional pages or layouts or can you develop an ACTUAL website based on that template? it is nice though :) Mekhu 09-16-2002, 11:42 PM People don't post anything but templates, cause we'd then have to charge more than $50 god forbid :D Actually, most designers should prob design a different looking subpage for their template buyers. iWebLancer 09-16-2002, 11:50 PM I agree with you, I've thought the same thing everytime I see people here selling templates. These are not templates for Frontpage or Dreamweaver or any other, they are just usually a one page design or screen. While there have been some nice designs pass through here. I feel for the price some of these people are getting, they should be making a template in one of the above editors or other popular formats, they would be much more valuable to everyone involved here. Not to get off topic, your web page design is very nice!! I've found that many clients of mine have started off buying a $300 template and then decided they'd like me to do the entire site and are more than willing to pay more. Alas, lately it seems no one has been willing to spend anything over $100 on even designs that people absolutely love. Maybe it's the economy, or maybe it's the age old plague of people selling horrible designs to people who don't know any better for $20 a pop. Anyway, thanks to all for the comments, now if only someone would back up their love for this template with a PayPal deposit :) thesmallguyshost 09-17-2002, 12:19 AM of course an entire site would be worth more than $100... i just wonder what people do with templates by themselves.. especially just one large psd file. Chicken 09-17-2002, 01:05 AM Well, this is exactly why I don't buy templates, other than the fact that I don't have a need. I really ddon't have the skill to do anything with them, heh. I think though what was said is true, this is just the opening page and the template designer could be contracted to make a sub page (some templates have been posted with main and sub included). Beyond that, it is just a sample of their work. I keep a list of designers who have posted templates that I like so I know who to refer people to in case someone asks. I'd have to check to be sure but didn't Azaloth do Arlington as well? I dunno (sorry if not), but these templates give people a starting point. For designers, their worst client is probably people like me who have no idea what they really want, even where to begin. This is, at least, a place to begin. Azaloth 09-17-2002, 01:09 AM I'm not sure what Arlington is but I'm pretty sure I didn't do it :) StartAnISP 09-17-2002, 01:56 AM now if only someone would back up their love for this template with a PayPal deposit Check your email, I just bought it.. :D I could not stand it anymore.. Been looking at this thing for days and I love it.. You win! Azaloth 09-17-2002, 01:57 AM Hahah thanks...TEMPLATE IS SOLD!!! *big hug to StartAnISP* AQHost 09-17-2002, 08:38 AM Originally posted by rastoma i just wonder what people do with templates by themselves.. especially just one large psd file. I bought the design for AQHost from a very talented designer as a template and then did the rest myself. The reason is that although I'm pretty good with HTML/PHP/MySQL and so on, I have no right side to my brain! All logic and no creativity. So to me, sitting in front of a blank screen and trying to come up with a good design is terrifying. Literally. I have no clue where to begin, and no idea what colors work with what etc. I suspect a number of people here are in the same boat. They can do amazing things with code, but they need a huge shove in the right direction with the actual design. Best wishes, Simon. StartAnISP 09-17-2002, 11:33 AM That's me.. I need help matching my clothes int he morning but I have written very extensive back ends like you would nto believe. |
