To be more precise, you are not allowed to transfer ownership or registrar of a domain name that is LESS THAN 60 days old. And as lbeachmike has pointed out, domain registration (with namecheap) and hosting are 2 different things. You can ALWAYS switch hosts. thewitt 09-16-2002, 08:06 PM Actually there are no general restrictions on ownership changes, only registrar changes (transfers) within the first 60 days. If you have restrictions on ownership changes, these are specific to your registrar and not an ICANN requirement. -t |
