I am planning to start a gaming site its more about fighting games. For which i thought of buying 5ter.com it is auctioned in godaddy for 2800$ how much do you think i can spend for that?
and also bookmypc.com how much do you think i can spend on these 2 domains?

5ter.com doesn't sound like a terribly valuable name (in my opinion), but that's just my take.
You may want to try to contact the owner directly, assuming that it's not "owned" by Go Daddy (e.g. non-payment on renewal).

Probably not the most obvious name, but I think it's kind of cool. As soon as I saw it, I immediately read "fighter"...I'm guessing that was the intention.
I like it. With the right branding it might be a really great choice. $2800 does seem rather expensive though.
