Ok so I pretty much gave up on hosting as a business long ago but I maintain a small # of websites still for friends/family. I havent logged onto mrregistrar.com to renew any domains for a while. I go to their site and its now showing one of those default pages you see when the domain has been snatched up by one of those companies that tries to resell the domain.
So I lookup whois on one of the domains and get the # to mrregistrar and the # is out of service.
I also see this:
Registrar Status: clientTransferProhibited
Registrar Status: clientUpdateProhibited
So now what? I havent messed with the hosting thing in a long time tbh. Was mrregistrar a transparent reseller from another company maybe? If so I could contact that company to see how to login to update things I guess. Not sure. Anyone know anything about them or have any advice?

Looking back through the forums, MrRegistrar was using 'itsyourdomain.com' - who have since been bought / acquired by Tucows.
I havn't had any experience of it directly, but I would think Tucows would be willing to help if you contacted them (http://domainhelp.tucows.com/ ?) and explained the situation to them
