Hi guys
I have had a few customers contact me regarding payment for services in a "non-major" currency such as Indian Rupees where the customers do not have credit cards.
Although I accept credit card payments via our bank's gateway as well as Paypal payments and direct deposits into our bank accounts in South Africa, Australia or the UK, none of these options cater for these clients' situation.
I have also looked at solutions such as e-gold but they also appear to cater only for the major currencies. I would prefer not to go through the trouble of setting up local bank accounts and understand that SWIFT transfers are fairly expensive.
Does anyone know of an easy and reasonably priced way to allow a client to pay in "non-major" currency (no credit card) and receive the USD/GBP/AUD/ZAR equivalent?

What payment methods are the clients trying to use, if not credit cards? Echecks / ACH debits?
Paypal or credit cards usually suffice for currency conversion for most international clients.

Try Plimus.com
The % fee per transaction is considerably high but your clients can pay through their phone.
The fee is added down onto their phone bill at the end of the month. Converted down in their currency yet your paid in the currency you chose to bill.
You can withdraw from Plimus though their Payoneer MasterCard, PayPal, Wire or ACH.

PayPal, 2Checkout converts currency automatically. Your clients should have account with PayPal to process the payment.
You can also try MoneyBookers.

We already have a PayPal account, but Indian Rupees is one of the few currencies that they do not appear to support.
I previously had a look at 2Checkout, but the problem with them is that it is very difficult to withdraw funds from our account with them as a South African merchant.
Also looked at MoneyBookers, but it seems Indian Rupees is the only currency that you cannot use to load money into your account as a buyer, so it will not work in this case.
Thanks for the input, though!
As an update: We opened a Plimus.com account and it does appear to offer all the facilities we need (albeit at a fairly expensive rate)...

Thanks sebhaks
CCAvenue looks great - just a bit expensive (signup & annual fees) for international merchants without a lot of volume from Indian clients...

Yeah CCAvenue is expensive!
Our Indian [ Local ] clients usually pay by using Bank transfers! Its probably the best option.
