View Full Version : Reseller Plan vs Reselling Space on a Server

I've just abandoned the reseller relationship that I have had with CheaperHost.com. Too much downtime.

Now I am looking for a new reseller relationship, or possibly my own dedicated server which I can sell space on. I have a few requirements:

-Control Panel for adding accounts, and for my clients to manager their own accounts

-Decent HD Space and Bandwidth

-Low cost, high reliability (ie. Willing to pay for high reliability, not necessarily looking for the cheapest deal out there.)

-Preferably located in DC Metro area

Any recommendations? Also, anyone have any thoughts on my own box vs reselling someone else's services?

Thanks - Brian

Go with a Private Server.

3gb of HD
50 gb transfer
3$ per IP

It really depends on how much you want to spend/Knowledge of server administration ect.

If you plan on going with Co-Location go with VDI.net, for the best prices. Alternatives are nac.net or alabanza.com, but they are probably 2x as much. If you want to resell or go with a dedicated go for Venturesonline.com (VDI based).
