Hmm i checked out the infamous dixiesys.com and several other webhosts. Compared most of their plans and VOILA!!

Sounds too good to be true (maybe) and i haven't seen this webhost posted in the forum that much, actually only 2 that was mentioned by me and some other person lately. Never the less, even in our post we havent gotten much reply. Wonder why? maybe its a new webhost.

Anyways you guys check it out and let me know:

www.dynamitehost.com

I think they have the best deals around :D correct me if i am wrong.

Their prices seem to be very low especially with the 'bigger' plans. I'd be a little weary of them. And that design they have is terrible.

No one have any experiences with them?
That actually was my top 1 followed by www.racknine.com then www.dot5hosting.com
But i am still in doubt for a particular reason that i cant explain here.:/

Well, I'll just say something simple... I once used one of those cheap hosts it's called ******.net, what they offer is something like 3.99$ month for 300mbs, 4gigs bandwith and the normal stuff (php, pop3, etc..). They also say 20 mins setup, 7 day money back garantee and so on... After using them for 2 weeks, I wish I had never signed up for them. First of all, they say a 20 mins setup which is false, my account was actually setup 1 day after. In the features they also mention 24/7 tech support which is only opened during the day (the night it's a email form). The sad part about there hosting that makes them look very bad is the fact that they got 2 testimonials. The first testimonial is from a website that is actually owned by one of there Technical Support agents. The 2nd testimonial, sad but true, is another website owned by one of there staff members. Also another down grade to there service is they register the domain for you and put there information in the WHOIS and keep the passwords for themself. Let's say you want to change the DNS, you gotta pay them 10 dollars for them to login to the godaddy.com domain manager and do a few clicks. Also let's say you wanted to switch host they refuse to give the domain password to you, the excuse they give you is "we use the same password for every client's domain" which is a lame excuse cause they can transfer the domain to the client's godaddy.com account easily without even bothering with the password.

All this to conclude, cheap hosts might not be the best. Go for a host that you know is good but affordable at the same time. Try going for a host that someone you know uses.

Kriz... i normally tell people to 'try it out' and have fun, but all i see with the host you're aiming for is future burn.

If you still feel like you'd like to go ahead and make the move, go for it.. however, the odds are not in your favor that it's going to be great hosting for the $$ they're asking for.

Be careful! The saying goes. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is!

Hmm.. but that saying could be wrong since I have had many good deals / experiences at lower prices.

I am sooo confused!!

Kriz, you posted in this thread: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74565 so i know you are aware of it. It asked the same exact thing. The other one was suspect, however now I'm pretty sure there's sopmethign funny going on and this host is destined to be ****'ed any minute now. Thread locked, both of them.
