View Full Version : Looking for Reseller Hosting with as many as possible of the listed features
rsolomou 12-31-2008, 06:56 AM Hello,
I've been on this forum for a few weeks, looking through posts and topics, and I finally decided to register and start my own topic.
I checked the Reseller Hosting Offers sub-forum, and I've seen like a million offers. I made comparison tables for all of them, but I still can't get anywhere.
So, I am looking for RELIABLE Master Reseller Hosting (using WHMReseller). Anything around $10-$15 per month is in my budget.
I'm also looking for this host to have the below listed features. It doesn't need to have all of them, but they are a plus.
1) Free WHMCS/ClientExec License
2) Free End-User Support
3) Free Private Nameservers
4) Overselling Enabled
5) 24/7 Technical Support (this is a must)
6) Easy & Fast Upgrades to next plan if I run out of resources
5 GB Space and 100 GB Bandwidth are good for starters, and then when I grow bigger, I could upgrade to a larger plan easily.
Please name your suggestions.
Thanks a lot :)
Richard

rsolomou 12-31-2008, 01:13 PM Hello,
How much do you think I have to make my budget to get a host like that?
I found EZPZ Hosting (ezpzhosting.co.uk) on the Reseller Hosting Offers about a week ago, and I've read several reviews. They seem great, and they match most of the features I'm looking for.
Does anybody else have any other similar hosts in mind?
Thanks,
Richard
headbull 12-31-2008, 01:23 PM I think your budget is abit to low for the requirments you are asking for.
1) Free WHMCS/ClientExec License <- Hostgator ?
2) Free End-User Support <- I don't know any host that has a good system on this...
3) Free Private Nameservers <- Thats quite normal, for a serious reseller to offer you.
4) Overselling Enabled <- Start your hosting career with honesty, and start overselling when you got a good client base.
5) 24/7 Technical Support (this is a must) <- Most companies have this I think today, atleast you will get an answer within short time.
6) Easy & Fast Upgrades to next plan if I run out of resources <- Most host will be able to arrange this for you quite quick.
RandyE 12-31-2008, 01:54 PM Probably up your budget to about 25 bucks. Not much more than your looking to spend. I would recommend surpass hosting. www.surpasshosting.com
WHMCS will already kill your budget. You should be expecting $20~$40 average for that. However, InnoHosting does provides them. Check out their offers.
teachforjune-Scott 12-31-2008, 04:12 PM Whmcs costs at least $12.95/mo, So unless a host has a volume discount, any host selling a master reseller plan for $10-15/mo is losing money on the deal and won't be around long.
As for end-user support. The best I've seen is Innohosting. They have an account for $19.95/mo with whmcs included and end-user support.
rsolomou 01-03-2009, 12:40 PM Hello,
Just an update to this topic.
Thanks to all of those who replied. I've taken your suggestions in mind, and I ended up signing up with EZPZ Hosting, and I am more than happy with this choice.
My account was setup instantly. They have an amazing true 24/7 support with average response time within 5-10 minutes, even if it's 3am in the morning!
The server I am on is very fast and doesn't seem to be overloaded at all. EZPZ Hosting even installed WHMCS for me and migrated my old accounts under my reseller account.
Best web host I have ever used so far! :)
Can someone tell me how I can report my website to the moderators for verification purposes?
Regards,
Richard

loads of resources, overselling enabled, free end user support - reliability is your primary concern with a budget of $10-$15??
I am not trying to be rude here - I am actually going to give you some very very solid advise (which you will probably ignore :) )
If you really want to spend $15-$20 - look for a much smaller package then what you have outlined. Look for a provider that either does not allow overselling, or has it enabled with restrictions (you do not want to be sharing servers with clients allocating unlimited space and bandwidth do you?). Finally, support is THE most expensive part of this business - I wouldnt look for free end user support...
Innohosting is a company offering free end user support - you may want to look at them... personally, I think the free end user support model is a bad one, but, that is just my opinion - if you are going to go this route, at least find a provider (like Innohosting for example) - that has been doing it for awhile, has systems setup for it and overall, has a pretty good reputation - but, I think, even with them, you are going to have to raise your budget quite a bit to get it..

I thought it eaiser just to quote you rather than write it again myself. :)
I see the op has made a choice, do let us know how it goes.
XeHSean 01-04-2009, 12:49 AM Those are a lot of features for such a small budget - perhaps you should try raise it a little.
