Anyone had any luck running some of the major (or any) control panels under OpenBSD? I've poked around a bit, and only found minor support for FreeBSD.
A custom option is looking better by the minute.

To be honest, OpenBSD and control panels are somewhat on opposite ends of the spectrum of administration methodology. I don't think you'll find a lot of control panel support for OpenBSD simply because, a) OpenBSD is not a large market, and b) very few OpenBSD users will be interested in control panels. The OpenBSD community for the most part has a true hacker (as in DIY, not blackhat) mindset, as its direction is dictated by the needs of its developers and contributors rather than user demands.

Ultimately its not aimed at OpenBSD users. It will allow customers to take advantage of a proven secure platform with easy-to-use management.

Not saying your business is. My point is that the mindset of the OpenBSD community is such that development for OpenBSD is done for developers, not users. Hence, you won't find much development interest in simplifying administration, as that is typically not an area of interest for developers. At least, not to as much extent as you would find on other operating systems.
In short, a custom solution would be the way to go. Since you would like to see a control panel for OpenBSD, you could be the developer with the interest who creates one. OpenBSD's misc mailing list would be a good place to look for other people who may share your interest.

Yeah, thanks for the discussion. Cheers.
