anyone interested in webhost.tech
its a new.net domain.
Anyone suggest a price I should sell it for? I'm not totally sure I'll sell it, but if the price is right i might! :)

I don`t think you`ll get to much for it, maybe if they are able to get wider support. I could be wrong though! :D
I have host.tech (or should I say my company does, rather :D)
In my opinion, it is too early to attach a value to these domains... it will be several months before new.net is able to gain widespread support, and no one knows for certain where they are headed. If someone offered over a hundred bucks for it right now it would be a decent return on your $25 investment, but you may just want to hold onto it until new.net becomes a little more mainstream and then see what you can get for it.

.com domains will always be worth the most, unless something else gets as known, recognized and desirable, which had never seemed to have happened. Dot-com, is the most recognized word/phrase to most Internet users, or WWW users anyway. I personally don't think the .cc, .tech, .ws domains are worth anything. If you get a something.tech, people will likely type in somethingtech.com, etc. I might be wrong, but everyone I've asked agrees. With any number or word, once there gets to be too many, it becomes too confusing and a hassle, so people still go for the most recognized, easiest to remember, what's been burned into their brains the longest type of things.
I do like the .inc and .biz domain extensions though, but still, I think most people that are trying to remember a site's URL, will recall them as site-inc.com or siteinc.com. I think it's a wise idea to get some of the better domain extensions, but only if you have a .com. Getting a .cc, unless it's a very popular .com domain (like chat.cc or web.cc, etc.), I think it's useless and too many people will try the other. When and if they ever use .web, I'll jump on that though! Most things longer than 3 letters, might be getting to be too much, in my opinion. :-)

I was thinking the same thing. :)
.COM will always be the 800# of the internet.
