I've been trying to get a hold of Edge Host but I'm very disappointed! AMD3 has been down for at least 1 hour so far and I haven't been notified about anything, I can't even access their website ::angry:

I hope they resolve the issue ASAP because I'm getting very cranky over here.

In the same situation here... hopefully it will be taken care of soon.. or at least a rep from EH can let us know the current info of the servers...

I'm still waiting...........

I phoned, AIMed and emailed them but no one has replied, I couldn't get a hold of anyone. Hopefully they're working on the problem.

TowerHost,

I just talked to you online... about 15 minutes ago... and as I said I am not a support person but would have people look into it.

I am not a support person, however I contacted some people and they are looking into it as we speak.

I am aware of the problems we have been having, but plan to talk to the "upper team" to ensure that these problems are fixed ASAP and that you are compensated for the loss.

I understand you are not part of the support department and have no problem with this. However, no one has told me why the server was down or even spoken to me other than yourself. The server has been down for 3 hours - which is unacceptable IMO.

I hope Edge Host support has a good explination as to why.
It is back up and running now but I am worried this is a sign to bad things to come from Edge Host.

I appreciate your help Alec and look forward to speaking with the support dept.

How large are you guys to where you have an "upper team"? Just curious.

While I am not preview to Edgehosts financials or how many servers they have, my recommendation to them is to get on offsite network account, (yes it can even be on a shared account) where they can notify clients of what is happening. This would appear to alleviate the problems of communication.

Humble piece of advise - don't complain about your suppliers in public. It makes you look bad too. Your site comes up for me, but I take it you have that site on another server than your clients?

Bob I appreciate the advice. Yes clients are split between two servers. I don't mean to complain here but I'm just fustrated.
