What kind of music do you like to listen to when you work? I listen to rock...

list your fav bands if you can...

creed (one last breath), nickelback (how you remind me), disturbed (down with the sickness), rammstein (ich will music vid!), some country is alright (i only say this cause my GF likes it). lol though if you get some time go get some stuff by "Roy d mercer" they're like prank calls funny stuff. he's obsessed with arse whoopings....i like christian too....and eminem,d12,dmx etc....

Mostly alternative rock.

Lately, I've been listening to Pearl Jam (Ten), The Tragically Hip (In violent light), 311 (Grassroots) and Springsteen's new CD...

But if there's one thing I can't stand, it would have to be rap/hip-hop. I hate it...

well as I type this 'Stabbing Westward - Wither, Blister, Burn + Peel' is playing.

Before that was 'a taste of sin' (A Cleopatra Records compiliation)

so voted 'other' :) goth/industrial mostly with a dash of 'rock'.

I listen to my country's local music and Film Soundtracks ... me not much of Rock/ POP guy actualy :o

I like anything except for Gangster Rap. Lately I've been listening to Def Leppard (X), Eminem (The Eminem Show), Skidrow (Skidrow) and Warrant (Cherry Pie). I also like a band out of my home town, Civil Funk. If you like Disturbed or Korn, you'll like them.

I mostly listen to underground music, as most artists are completely played out. The radio stations, play the same songs over and over.

My favorite artist is a guy by the name Necro, its nasty type rap, like eminem but much better and funnier.

I also really like DJ Encore & Engelina, while its popular in europe. Its hardly popular in the states.

I like a whole bunch of different music.

Rock, New Country, Easy Listening, Techno, Classical Music, Blues.
Anything but rap lol Sorry just not for me.

Country, oldies, rock, alternative, old R&B (Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, people like that; not the "oh baby baby baby baby baby baby baby ohh ohhh ooohhh baby baby baby" crap of today).

Umm.. favorite bands/artists:

Sublime, Nirvana (!!), Creed, Frank Sinatra, Collin Raye, Restless Heart, Don Williams, Aretha Franklin, Johnnie Taylor, Stealers Wheel, Patty Loveless, Mary Chapin Carpenter.. just most old time bands/artists, some newer country although I dislike most of it since it's too in relation to pop (gag), some rock and punk (most punk bands are gone, though).

Techno! Although, I also listen to rock quite a bit too.

Tool, PearlJam, RATM, AIC, the Doors, the beatles, the list goes on and on...

Where's the rap option?

I like Tupac, Biggie, Bone, etc. I like real rap, not this hip-hoppy-pop trash from Nelly and Eminem...

I like some rock and ska and r&b too... Dave Matthews Band, Weezer, Less Than Jake, Craig David...

I like most music, but country is just wrong....

I was into alternative rock for a long time (and still am), but now I'm starting to drift to the older rock stuff (Rolling Stones comes to mind :)) Maybe I just got bored of alternative.

I didn't ask why you didn't like it, I asked why you say it's "wrong" - what, exactly, is "wrong" about it?

Yes, it's my personal preference, and I never said it wasn't. When I said "country is wrong", it simply means "I do not like it". I didn't think it'd take a rocket scientist to figure that one out...

I like pretty much everything except opera and most rap and country, although i respect their talents.

My current playlist has Tool, Elvenking, Rush, LagWagon, Avenged Sevenfold, The Beatles, BigWig, Fear Factory, Dillenger Escape Plan, At The Gates, Pink Floyd, Void Main, Red Hot Chillipeppers, Choke, Soilwork, Bad Religion, Weakerthans... I could go on for a while, it's quite a large and diverse playlist :)

I play drums (guitar and bass too but i like drums more) so if the band has a good drummer, chances are i'll probably like them. I like alot of bands with bad drummers too though hehe.

I listen to just Rock and Techno, most usually.

I love music and listen to most kinds. I notice you missed off dance...which is one of my favourites when just chilling. However, almost anything goes with me aslong as long as it has a good sound to it.

I listen either to classical music or metal and power metal. I like Ozzy, and Nightwish, and Hammerfall, and Axel Rudi Pell, and...

Rock (FF, STP, NiN, Bush, Pearl Jam, Puddle of Mudd, Skunk Anansie etc.)
Dance/Trance (Oakey, Seb, Ferry etc)
Rap/R'n'B (2pac, Ja Rule, WarrenG, etc. - driving mainly)
Alt. (Counting Crows, Oasis, Paul Weller, Super Furry Animals, Stereophonics, Radiohead, Toploader, Coldplay etc.)

I can listen to almost anything apart from Classical just doesn't agree with me :D

pop mainly the cheesy variety hehe

Trance,House,Drum n Bass,Hip Hop,R&B,Industrial,Trip Hop
