View Full Version : allReseller Experience

Since my web hosting company was just getting started, I decided to purchase a reseller or master reseller hosting account to get it started then expand by adding dedicated servers to fully manage my hosting accounts. I cam across a website called allReseller and they advertised a 99.9% SLA up time, 30 Day Money Back, free WHMCS, 30GB Space and plenty bandwidth for $16.95. Before I purchased the package I decided to do some searching on allReseller and saw they were ranked in the top 10 for reseller companies and they had excellent reviews. I signed up but after a week I saw their server was always overloaded which caused some down-time and a bad experience for my clients. Some of my clients left so I went and requested a refund through PayPal's resolution center and a day later they only said "What?" I requested a refund the 18 and is now the 25th and I do know it can take time but they stopped communicating with me and terminated my service before they issued me a refund which is against their terms of service. If anyone ever had a bad experience please tell me. Also PAYPAL is horrible because they refuse to help me when I can send them all this proof which could be compared to allreseller's information on file.
Yes its only like $22 but I only pay for a service I have, once I don't have it why should I pay.
dhcart 12-25-2008, 02:14 PM Thank you for you shared your bad experience with us. $16.95/month is too cheap for this offer. Also I could not see their company information on their web site. I recommend stay away from too cheap solutions. Good luck for your new choice.

Manageandsupport_com 12-25-2008, 03:39 PM Paypal does not usually help in cases like these as they do not cover virtual goods/services. So your best chance of getting a refund is to point this thread to allreseller and they might just give you a refund to clear their reputation here. I think they are advertising their plans in the offers section on wht.

mwmarshall 12-25-2008, 03:56 PM Okay but they refuse to communicate with me. I have sent them a number of e-mails and posts inside PayPal's resolution center. What I don't get is that you can use PayPal to sell services but they won't cover the buyer. I do understand things could be falsified but if someone has proof that could be confirmed with the merchant that should be allowed. If PayPal will not cover, PayPal should not allow companies to use them.

Hello, My last conversation with marshall is he accepted to get it anytime between now and the 28th thru paypal dispute. He opened so many tickets with us and paypal i couldnt keep up with responses. It was like 7-9 a day we were getting , I thought we both agreed to refund before the 28th? But i went home early and billing people arent in till 9 am 26th so ive logged in and refunded your money, thank you and god bless your holidays!

Reseller Mike 12-26-2008, 03:25 AM Hi,
Well it looks like you got a refund and all worked out. Next time look for somthing within you're budget with real spec's $16.95 is too low for this package. + why do you say you pay $22 when the package was $16.95 ?
Also I would of asked the host before i gone to paypal for a refund, Paypal is hard to get a refund with.
Best of luck with your new search.
Mike.

RandyE 12-26-2008, 03:43 AM Yes, generally PayPal should be the last place you try to get a refund through. You should always start out with the source of the issue. Also, next time, don't open lots of disputes through paypal, as that does make it harder for the company to answer.
Good luck finding your new host, hope everything comes out ok. Next time look for better pricing, that is too little for that much specs.

mwmarshall 12-26-2008, 10:37 AM 7-8 e-mails a day no way, try 1-2 and a post in the resolution center but thank you for the refund and have a great holiday.
iHubNet-Matt 12-26-2008, 11:03 AM Glad to hear that you got the refund. But it seems opening multiple tickets won't solve the issue faster. Sales tickets takes a bit of time to answer.

How so? 16.95 is perfectly reasonable for what allReseller offers... they have also been in business for over 3 years which says a lot.

Read what he got for the 16.95/mo I dont think its reasonable price for the package and add-ons that come with the package.
You can see i'm not the only one who thinks so...
Thats great 3 years into it. Don't mean they can give stuff that cheap and keep aflow...
Mike.

Well 3 years says they can I guess we can agree to disagree, but they don't seem to have any troubles offering what they sell.
