Suggest an alternate to AdSense

Yesterday I submitted my request to Google Adsense to review my site and get a adsense ID. They ask for site to be atleast 6 month old to be eligible for adsense.
Now can anyone suggest me an alternative to it? Some relible advertiser I can go for. Maybe AdsBrite or something better?
Thanks,

bager

AdBrite is what I have heard the most about besides AdSense.

I'm using both text-link-ads.com and linkworth.com and I'm getting more than adsense

AdBrite is what I use - it also supports CPM which from memory AdSense doesn't. There's also Cliksor who haven't been mentioned... not brilliant but nothing to go out of your way to avoid... I'd go AdBrite personally (as I did heh)

Actually Adsense has CPM as well, but Adberite has more CPM judging from past experience. There is actually another program started by a fellow member in WHT called TextAdMarket. You may want to look into that as well.

i like adbrite, because you can put adsense into it and it will put which of the two will make you the most money on display. Ingenious really....

Mike is right! I saw alot of adbrite ads lately and I gathered they are paying good $$$ for publishers.
Also, you may want to check out Widget bucks, they offer a very enticing price for CTR's.

Have you thought about attempting to seek potential advertisers directly? You could potentially earn more money and not rely on actual click throughs, especially given the fact that your site is newer. $20 for a banner may sound cheap but likely more than what you'll get with a pay per click deal. Then again, it depends on your ability to drive traffic to the site. Just some food for thought.
