View Full Version : What status did you hold in high school?
Marko_P 09-14-2002, 10:03 PM so...were you a geek , normal or somewhat popular guy in highschool.... You could say that I'm a normal guy...but sometimes I tend to act kind of geeky... I'm in High school right now...it's fun.... going for a popular girl!! most of you probably know already...
SoftWareRevue 09-14-2002, 10:19 PM Weren't no geeks in high school when I was there. :(
mind21_98 09-14-2002, 10:22 PM The guy who was going to snap at any time. When I was a freshman I had a semi-bad temper; that's why people think I'm crazy.
pgrote 09-14-2002, 11:06 PM Maybe you can expand the question to NOW IN HIGH SCHOOL to include our friends who are still there ;-)
davidb 09-14-2002, 11:23 PM There were really only two groups in my high school(only 60 students in total)
Those we thought were going to flip out and go crazy(there were 2 I remember well. There were some days where this almost happend. But one time the kid just got so pissed he walked out of school)
Then there was everyone else.
andiegirl 09-14-2002, 11:28 PM I'm 17 and should be in High School, but I dropped out.
I was the geek. Really geeky and totally uncool.
davidb 09-14-2002, 11:36 PM I came close to dropping out(I went to 3 high schools, last one was the small one). best disicion I EVER made
IGobyTerry 09-14-2002, 11:42 PM I wouldn't consider myself super cool or anything, but I'm no geek.
mantra 09-14-2002, 11:45 PM Wow, our high school was pretty big .. 500 students in my graduating class alone. I was no GEEK .. just an O.K. guy
Pretty Normal Guy.... although Geeky at times.
ChickenSteak 09-15-2002, 12:07 AM Normal guy, untill the computer classes came, hell I could type faster then the teacher.
interactive 09-15-2002, 12:11 AM me = kinda geeky someone that just showed up at school only cause he had to...thank god im graduating early though........
whats the deal now a'days with bullies i guess you could call them....for some reason this freak (im like 5'11) and he's like 5'4 comes up and starts giving me crap tyring to push me around so i should him into the locker and he started bleeding.....kinda nasty but teaches people who to mess with hu....
ChickenSteak 09-15-2002, 12:14 AM Exactly ;o) I'm 6'6, 195 pounds, and very muscular (football guy). You just got to teach them a lesson the first thing they try anything, and that one example will show everyone not to mess with you :D.
davidb 09-15-2002, 12:20 AM interactive, same thing happend to me, I got out one semester early, took college classes. great thing. The year before, I was starting my sophmore year over again. That lasted about two months tell I found my final school. They were great
interactive 09-15-2002, 12:28 AM sweet, im 15 and basicly done with highschool (just finishing up math). i dont get why people are so stupid. the school i used to goto was full of mexi's (no im not racist). by them selves they are weak but like wolves the pack up and you have problems. my best friend got stabbed by one he ws just walking down the halls right in front of a teacher and they teacher didn't do anything. so we went and key'd the guys car (it was liek a 98 mustang gt fairly nice car) and spray painted all over it....kinda funny haven't seen the dude around since then..im sure his car is still in the body shop....its bad when you have to inflict your wrath to get your point accross
viGeek 09-15-2002, 12:53 AM I guess you could say I was normal. I had alot of friends in my grade, got invited to all of the keg parties, played on the basketball team and baseball team. Basically I was that kid, that was normal, that hung out with all the popular people. I did however, get alot of girls in high school, I always had a reputation as a "player". I also got voted class clown of my class every year since 10th grade. I was also, not very book smart, I was in all regular classes, I never took any accelerated or honors classes. The only thing holding me back was, in my town, all the kids knew each other from elementry school, and were friends for years. I came to the local school in 6th grade, and didnt really make alot of friends until 8th.
richy 09-15-2002, 07:24 AM umm :) at secondary school i was a prefect, bit of a jock, did well grades wise. generally kept to a close group of friends though.
at college (16-18 yrs old, for my american friends college is like your high school) there wasnt prefects, but i was firmly in the jock \ swot category. little weirder as i moved out of home and worked when i was 16 as well so i tended not to fit into such well defined social categories. i also found i had far bigger groups of friends at college.
floppy 09-15-2002, 07:40 AM I just remember my old school days. It was all fun. I was very popular among girls and always used to sit on the back bench in my class doing all sort of mischiefs.
dynamitehost 09-15-2002, 08:04 AM I was kind of average I suppose...
But, I could type faster than my IT teacher ;)
In fact I could do just about everything better than him, although he didn't like to admit it and always tried to make my work look bad in front of the class..... lol, he was a 2 finger typist :emlaugh:
exploiter 09-15-2002, 10:56 AM I'd say I was normal, we didn't have any I.T clases in year 11, but in year 10 I was ahead of most people in I.T and probably knew more than the teacher himself, heh.
prelude785 09-15-2002, 11:41 AM My high school has 1060 students in the graduating class. Over 4k in total. I'm a preti regular guy. I'm in advanced classes, but i'm failing two of them. If i take regular classes, i end up teaching others more than the teacher. So thats my high school life.
