Anybody know how to fix this ERROR faster

netearth 12-17-2008, 04:18 PM Are you trying to get through to NameCheap technical support?
Have you actually tried ringing them to get it sorted?

Mike - Limestone 12-17-2008, 04:43 PM Has anyone else experienced issues contacting NameCheap, or is it primarily just this one client? Is it perhaps related to the spam attack that the OP mentioned?

Techno 12-17-2008, 05:11 PM I am confused. My understanding is that one of your websites was hacked to send out massive spam. And now you cannot access your NameCheap control panel? Is that correct?
Is your website hosted with namecheap?
Are you sure it was NameCheap (your registrar) and not your web host who blocked the domain?
coolerok 12-18-2008, 05:12 AM no. they locked spamed domain =(
and we still cannot get reply for "how to unlock it?" loosing money each hour without their support

sure it is ..
I get message in my panel "banned for spam"
and then all messages about unlock are ignored...
JoyceBabu 12-18-2008, 06:05 AM Last time I contacted them, it took hours to get a reply from them. That was almost a month ago.

Briggsie 12-18-2008, 06:47 AM hmm sounds very weird. I certainly have had no problems with their support before.
SiberForum 12-18-2008, 07:28 AM I suppose that spam attack is still live and they just keep it locked to prevent that...

mdrussell 12-18-2008, 08:57 AM PM me the details. Our support is the best in the domain registrar business. If the account has been locked, there is a valid reason for it.

enetwork 12-18-2008, 09:27 AM Based on any information I could gather from the original posters post here, I tried searching our ticket system for anything to do with locked accounts and I could not come up with anything relevant to what is described here. Without further info, I cannot investigate it any further.
I'm sure there will be more to this situation than meets the eye. Our support team does not lock domains without a valid reason. We also do not ignore our clients.

route2null 12-18-2008, 10:10 AM I have to concur on this. I have been a NameCheap customer for 3 years, with several hundred domains over that time frame, and I have never been ignored, nor do they restrict access on a whim.
Exist 12-18-2008, 12:18 PM I have a large amount of domains with Namehcheap, and support has always been very prompt.
