If i become a reseller, do i have to establish a company? or can i just make a website and start selling hosting plans?
And would i have to make my own TOS, or am i allowed to use the TOS of the hosting company that i am reselling?

You could just make a site and start selling I think.. as for your TOS, ask your host whether you could use it also. Besides some times you might want to modify the TOS/SLA to meet your own needs and policies.

But lets say that i wanna say what server their site will be hosted on, lets say computer with linux, 512 mb ram, and it has 3 T1 connections(not that this is true, im just trying to make an example)
So am i allowed to say ,"My servers are on a linux computer, with 512 mb ram, blah blah blah?
the servers really belong to the host that i am reselling, so Can i say MY SERVERS have blah blah blah?

If you want to be honoust about it say "Your site will be hosted on a Pentium 4 connected through the internet with yadda yadda"

Although it's not absolutly wrong to say "our servers" it is often best to stay as close to the truth as possible.

Honesty will gain you a lot more respect.
Just think how you would feel if your host lied to you.

Zack, don't go jumping in on the hosting business so soon. Although you would be reselling, you should have some basic knowledge about web hosting. Also, try working on a business plan.

Im not just jumping into the web hosting business so soon, and i do have an OK knowledge about webhosting, i did have a few websites.

It takes more than having a few web sites to offer web hosting and support to paying customers. **shakes head**. Why not offer to work part-time for a hosting company to gain experience first?

In another post you said you were under 18. Do you go to school? How do you expect to provide technical support while in school?

Have you talked to your parents about owning a business? Did they tell you about the business and legal responsibilities involved?

There is a big gap between having a web site and being a web host.

All I can say to this kid is: Good luck, your going to need it.

And i am going to be a partner with another reseller that just started for a few months until i learn the ropes of reselling, then i can really decide if i want to become a reseller or not after experiencing it.

If you are going to partner with somebody... then go the whole mile. If not then start solo. It save you, your partner, and clients a lot of stress if you ever have problems.

Why would you want to start a business for only "a few months"?
