Best for what browser compatability, price, you need to be more descriptive. Anyways geotrust has been a great cert for us. Also it would help if you told us what OS you are using.

Comodo Positive SSL is $9.95 at Namecheap. But it's not a single root certificate. So RapidSSL better than this(it's price is same, too at Namecheap).

Regarding to your request: the best way to have the SSL cert installed is to order the service "Let us install your SSL" from GlobeSSL for $10 (one time). The SSL does cost $8/year.

Btw: RapidSSL doesn't have single root anymore.
