Templates for actors/singers/talent?
Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone knew of a good source for templates (preferably free) for actors, singers or other solo performers. I am an opera singer and I'm trying to find a template to use for a website while I research designers for the eventual finished product. If you have any suggestions, I'd be very grateful.
Thanks!

What are you using to design the website? For example, are you looking for templates for Frontpage, Dreamweaver, Wordpress, etc.?

If I may add a quick suggestion, I would recommend you move away from a template as soon as you can.
From what I have seen in the industry (worked at a studio for a time), having no web site is almost (?) better for a performer/artist than having a template web site that lacks pizazz.
Good luck, though!

LOL, I think this is part of the problem - I have no idea. Honestly, I didn't realize I would need one of these programs to edit a template until today. I downloaded Nvu and have been playing around with changing templates and making some designs of my own, but I'm sure you can imagine how well that's going! What programs would you recommend?
While I realize that it's important for a performer's website to have some "pizzazz," opera is a little different than rock/pop/hollywood, so I'm not super concerned about that right now. As long as the site has my press kit, mp3s and photos on it, it should be okay. Of course, I will eventually find the money to have it done right, but something simple will suffice for now.

Expression Web 2 is fairly easy to understand and inexpensive compared to Dreamweaver and others. The UPG version costs approx $90 and installs if you have any previous version of MS Office. Templates are generally written for Dreamweaver or FrontPage. FrontPage was replaced by MS Expression Web.

HTML website templates can significantly ease the burden of designing and creating websites by providing webmasters with a ready-made web layout, structure, basic graphics, and color scheme. Templates can generally be edited and customized with any HTML editor. The biggest advantage for webmasters using ready-made templates is the amount of time that can be saved. There are a number of websites that provide ready-made HTML templates. We have compiled a list of some popular sites to make the search process easier.
