Hello all… I would like to jump into selling domain names on my web site. It appears there are many options and people offering resellers accounts. Even some offering affiliate programs. I am looking for suggestions, recommendations and so forth. I don’t have a lot of capital left to invest into a large reseller program. Can someone recommend several good companies that offer programs for resellers?

If you don’t have a lot of capital, the best option is Enom's sub-reseller account. You can get one from Enom's resellers for a small start up fee (~$25) and then you will have almost all features available at Enom. After that you can use Registry Rocket (no deposit required) or your own Enom's API ($100 deposit required) to provide domain registration services.

$100 deposit is required only if you pay by credit card. You can deposit any money by cheque.

There are several in the forums here.. usually advertised by the byline.
Be careful who you sign up with, because your "parent" reseller could change your pricing or leave you standed without warning. Price isn't everything..
Good luck.

I agree that finding good sub reseller is not an easy task. I suggest that you email them and request some information about the service.
Hope this help.

Good points MrZippy and TheWatcher2. :agree:
