Web-Site Building Tips
"I need to make money online." Then I posed the question "How?"..
The first thing that came to mind was a website. I'm not to fancy with PHP or Flash... I know basic HTML/CSS and with graphic design I can manage. The real tough part was deciding what the website was going to be about and how I was going to utilize it to rip the benefits. I was thinking about starting a Media Resource Center. A compilation the the best/rarest resources for popular softwares as well as nifty utilities, websites, news and info. In a nutshell, I want to distribute as much media resource and information through my site as possible... to a ceratin extent that is. For example -
FL Studio - Drum Kits, VSTi's, DXI's, Soundfonts, ETC.
Reason 4 - Drum Kits, Re-Fills, Soundfonts, ETC.
Paint Shop Pro - Fonts, Brushes, Textures.
Photo Shop - Fonts, Brushes, Textures.
RPG Maker - Sprites, Art, Music, ETC.
I'm not going to limit myself to this only... I'm sure I'll encounter more software as I move along.
My friend told me to grab a good hosting site... Word Press and start. Is this the right way to do it? I want to make it similar to a blog. I want to maybe put advertisements on my website and get paid for it... How does this work exactly? Can you guys give me and tips... information on how to start... Were to begin... ANYTHING USEFUL. Thank yoooouuu
