First off I applogize in advance I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times. If you can help me out with a link that would be great. I tried a search but came up with alot of stuff that didn't apply to me.

I want to own a domain name. I thought some cheaper places to register a name actually owned it you just payed less because they own it. If that's the case where do I sign up at? Any advice for me. I just signed up for web space at www.willowweb.com now need a name.
