I am a 16 year old kid who started designing web sites 2 years ago. I am the lead designer at gushnet.com. I also launched my personal site, naokistudios.com recently. But currently, I don't have any clients. That is why I am posting here.

I believe my designs are of high quality and I have lots of experience in graphics + html. Also, I can have a site coded in PHP by a fellow PHP coder that works with me at gushnet.com.

Starting price for designs start at $175. Check out my portfolio at my site:

Nice looking gifs.

BTW, most people won't care about your age, as long as you do business like an adult.

Looks like you are off to a good start, keep it up!

Some good work but I would edit the "better than most designs that other people offer" if I was to be honest as it sounds a bit arrogant.

I like the Graphics very much :)

people are a bit touchy about hiring kids, so make like your 40 :p

my policy is i'll tell how old i am if asked, but i never volunteer my age... some people just dont want to send a $600 check to a 17 year old... afraid i'll rip them off i guess

with fair reason, theres noone around here thats 16/17 whos into computers and really knows enough for me to pay them $600 to do a job.

I'm 16, just got paid 600$ for my last project and have a couple more lined up. Most people I deal with don't care how old I am, as long as I'm reliable and efficient, and deliver high quality work.

I also usually don't tell everybody my age before I'm hired for the job, but it's on my website anyway so...

And Lazarsus, sounds like you are having a lot of success. Do you want to get in touch? Maybe help me out?

I know many 16-17 year olds that know much more about computers than adults do. The internet keeps changing... so everybody needs to learn new things.

true, but in comparison to a 22 year old university student specialiising in the subject?

i thought i knew a lot when i was 17 and doing freelance work, and compared to what i'm doing now the stuff was pretty trivial. obviously people need to start somewhere and learn, but i wouldnt have paid me $600 then, now i probably would but i'm stingy
