OK, Who do you find to offer the best service & coverage. Price is unimportant!

Sprint. The last phone I had was through Cingular, and they were ok. My Sprint phone doesn't have games on it though. :(

I'm in Australia so I doubt my post is what you're after, but Vodafone :)

No monthly fee and I just pay AU$0.01 per second for outgoing calls. None of that pay for incoming calls crap that I hear they have in the US?

I've been with Vodafone for 5 years and have never been happier. My signal status is currently full and rarely drops below. It also works at our family property in the middle of nowhere which is an added bonus :)

I was with Telstra Analogue about 7 years ago for a year or so and didn't like them (but I didn't have a choice). Based on the number of problems my mum has with her Telstra GSM phone - there is no way I'd go with them.

As for Optus - I had a backup mobile phone with them but they were shocking; always out of coverage.

Depends on where you live silly!

Go to different service providers. Usually, they will let you take a phone for a day. Go where you usually go, see if they work there...

I'm in the wireless business, it all depends on location..

I have 2 phones (Nextel and T Mobile), I'm happy with both of them, Nextel offers free incoming calls so that could be good for you, all depends on what you're looking for and location..

As was said, location location location. Here in Southern Cali, I've found that Sprint is better than the Cingular I had before.

I have Verizon and am pleased so far. I like the price and coverage. I used to have Nextel. I liked their free incoming minutes, and i used to like their unlimited plan. However, they certainly don't have as good coverage as Verizon. I'm in Colorado now, but I was using Verizon in very rural SouthWest Kansas too, just to give you idea how good their coverage is. Go by a Verizon store, take a look at their coverage map, and you will see.

Verizon's nights and weekends minutes are unlimited, and they don't count against your peak minutes. Free long distance too, of course. The comments on this board are "it depends on location." Well, if you get the right plan with Verizon, you can be at just about any location. It's just like the commercial. :)

at&t has good service?!?!?!!?!?!? uh hu...anywho i have tmobile (i have a motorola with like AIM built into it sweet phone). i like sprint though too course tombile has better plans i think...
