ned patter 09-13-2002, 07:39 AM Can a non English talker please explain why you switch languages on your web sites?.
One minute it's English and the next it's Japanese or something.
It gets annoying so please pick 1 language and 1 language ONLY.

How could someone who dosn't speak english explain something to you? You wouldn't understand them, because they don't speak english! :cartman:
ned patter 09-13-2002, 07:47 AM But they speak English as well.
But you specifically said "Non english talker please explain..."
Unless I'm incompetent, I presume that means you want someone that dosn't speak english to explain something to you.
But the thing is how would you understand the if they're a "Non english talker...?"
Oh well, I forgot I'm trying to explain something to Ned Patter...

Darth 09-13-2002, 08:52 AM LOL, this is a waste of time. Someone should close the thread.
ned patter 09-13-2002, 08:53 AM I started it so i should be the one to say it's ok to start it so don't start.
Darth 09-13-2002, 08:54 AM No one understands your question.
ned patter 09-13-2002, 08:56 AM Yes they do.
It's the second time you have requested a thread to be closed that you did not start.
anon-e-mouse 09-13-2002, 08:56 AM Ned, sometimes people have sites that are visited by people from different countries. So they place a link to a language that you understand, which takes a lot of time and effort.
I stick to English because I couldn't translate if my life depended on it

Darth 09-13-2002, 08:58 AM Does anyone understand Neds question?

Perhaps it is a translation for the other country's language that visits the site. Not everyone in the world speaks English :) Heck some even speak American! :D

I did, (well vaguely) but Ned needs to rephrase it...
That's what I was trying to get him to do at the beginning of this thread...
okihost 09-13-2002, 05:58 PM ahhh another waste of precious diskspace..
Darth 09-13-2002, 06:22 PM Wonder how much space/bandwidth this used up?
conceptual 09-13-2002, 06:36 PM No problem ned everyone knows what you mean, just need to rephrase with bet. vocab. heh and yes companies do that so customers from a different language can sign up and they can recive more customers and I doubt they will chabge just because you think its annoying.
