How to refund in PayPal

Hi
I found out there was an error in the transaction of the item that was bought by an international buyer and he has paid the payment with his credit card. Now how do i refund the payment in PayPal?

deepman007,
If you click on the payment, for additional details, there is typically a Refund link. Are you able to find that link?

Is there something wrong with my payment account?

Click transaction details. At the bottom it says you can issue a refund upto 60 days. Click it. You can do full or partial. If you make a refund there is NO WAY of reversing it so make sure you confirm the correct amount.

Hello,
What happens to the transfaction fees when you do a return in paypal? Do they:get refunded (too good to be true)
partial refund
no refund but you don't have to pay any fee for the refund transaction
no refund AND you have to pay fee for refund transaction
Thanks

When you provide a refund, your transaction fees are also refunded. You MUST use the refund option in PayPal in order to get the refund for your transaction fees.

Exactly right!
If you do a full refund, all transaction fees are refunded.
If you do a partial refund, a portion of the transaction fees are refunded (pro-rated, essentially, but not quite).

I would very much assume so, but I have yet to confirm. Does anyone know for sure?
