does anybody know something about this service - hosting warranty
I would love to hear from someone who has experience with it.

I am assuming you are talking about www.hostingwarranty.com
It looks like a disguised affiliate referral scheme.

The site appears to be VERY new.
Google has 5 responses to the query "hostingwarranty.com", the first 2 are the site itself, the third is a digg submitted yesterday the 4th is my post above (wow google is fast) and the last is a generic list of domains.
I doubt that anyone has any actual experience with them.
Perhaps our newly registered user has some association with them?

I am really surprised at this! However, I have often heard that WHT is indexed pretty fast at google.

blueball 12-06-2008, 01:09 PM thanks,
yes, they are new, i checked the domain whois records, it's 6 months old.
regarding your questions, I have no association with them and I found them through google.
I don't care about them being affiliates of hosting companies (they even say they are in their faq) my concern is leaving my personal details in the site.

blueball 12-06-2008, 04:41 PM hosting guru, I'm not sure you got the point, they are not a hosting company.
they give a service that you sign up to any company you wish using their links and they give you a warranty of money back for the full year if you're not satisfied. they don't offer their own hosting.
