Would you pay $20 for 500 PM's?

Yes I know WHT offers premium membership for $50/yr which offers 1,000 PM's.
WHT members: Would you pay $20 for a larger PM inbox, maybe 500 PM's instead of the standard 200?
WHT suggestion: It would be nice to see this as an ÃÂ* la carte option. What's the official word?

One time fee or recurring? If recurring how often?

Ideally one time
If recurring probably annual or bi-annual?

If it was a one time payment then possibly.
Paul

The official word is, "huh?". Sorry, only room for one word.
I've never thought of an ÃÂ* la carte option. I wonder what kinda stuff that could include beyond the PM box suggestion?

Honestly, $50/year isn't that bad for the premium membership. If you want the extra features, pay up. If you don't - live with it.

You can easily find that 500 PMs are not enough either. I did, twice, and each time I downloaded them all (there are links at the bottom of the "List messages" page), cleaned the box, and started fresh. I don't recall ever needing to go back to review them, and if I did, I had the backup to resort to, which, while a bit inconvenient, can do the job.
As for the value of $20, it depends on how you look at things. I could eat for almost a week off of that amount of money, if I had to. Others might only get their Starbucks for the week, which is equally necessary - some would say.

I would pay $20 for 500 PM's. However with that said, I think implementing that and having a la carte options would be a terrible idea. First it would be PMs...but what next to monetize? When you want to get a name change? When you want to change the color of your name? Put a little banner? etc...
Many popular forums like DNForum have had this for a long time (i.e. you can pay extra for more PMs, name changes, italicized name, bold name, colored name, icons, banners, avatars, gift icons, and so forth.) I would much rather WHT keep it simple with its Premium Membership.

Your a popular member here, so for you 500 may not be enough.
For others, 500 can last them a hundred years.

I think the Premium Member option is the best solution for WHT to monetize the member base. A la carte would just get confusing...
