Buying domain between 1 or more partys...

Hi There,
Okay i've always had an issue about when buying a domain with people over seas that they can pretty much steal it if both people have access to it, obviously the website is owned by more than 1 person so how do you protect everyone and make it so it cant be touched...
Thanks Jono

domain name and web hosting account are separate things. And when you sell domain name you transfer it from one account to another and no one touch your account

Domain owner can be either one individual person, either company.
If I understand you well, you two both share access (login) to domain account. If that's true, then you're right and this can be problematic in future, because only one person can be listed as domain owner and in case of arguing or something this person can "steal" domain. Solution would be with founding company and stating company as domain owner however in most such situations this isn't really realistic option and there's not much what can be done between two "friends" which work on same project.
Sorry, but I doubt that there's "perfect" solution for this. Maybe some legal contract between you two?
