Paypal IPN

We have recently been having some problems with paypal IPN (using whmcs). Has anyone had any similar issues? Today we had two orders that were paid with paypal and continued to show as "unpaid" in whmcs... very strange.

We have not experienced any Paypal IPN issues today.
Are you able to log raw IPN hits in WHMCS to see if or when they are arriving from Paypal?

We've had a slight delay today of about 5 minutes after we've recieved the PayPal payment confirmation.

Yeah? I wasn't patient enough to wait and manually entered the payment into the system. I wonder if it would have shown up after 5 minutes.. hmm.

The IPN usually retries if your server hasn't sent a response within 10 seconds. Maybe you or PayPal had some congestion?

Would entering the transaction manually into whmcs affect future recurring billings?

I still seem to be having problems with the paypal IPN. Is there anyway to check if my firewall could be blocking it? I know it used to work fine before.. Any ideas on how to trouble shoot?

Also.. does it send an IPN if the payment is via eCheck that hasn't cleared yet?

Yes, after checking some logs.
2 IPN Calls:
Code:
'payment_status' => 'Pending',

Code:
'payment_status' => 'Completed',
Things like TXN ID are static as you'd expect.

Hmm.. I'm not getting either.. although it worked just last week. I tried white listing paypal IPN ip's, but it hasn't helped. Anything else I can try?

Not sure if it's related, but error log only shows:
Quote:

Non-fatal, so might or might not be linked. Can you run the IPN script directly to see if (at least), you ge
