Hello,
I am EPH.. aka smasher. im a small time computer web designer and i have a small ongoing project ive been working on for years now. it is called Polaris IRC. a Internet Relay Chat script. Originally i used polaris-central.com but the other owners of polaris didnt wanna keep the site online so they made it forums only and chat. I took the liberty to look into a new domain. Jeem aka Jim from oxygenshell.com told me hed help me out, buy the domain for me and let me route it to my hosting i have. Later on i format my computer losing the login info for qmail/ and the 2 ftp;s he set up to help me host the script. I try to get the information and im turned down. I am told "O Well" if i dont have the information. I asked if i could purchase the domain, the measly 14 bucks MAX he probably spent on the domain, he wants 40 bucks. I dont believe this, even after he bought the domain he said he would give me the ownership, i never recieved that. So offering to buy this domain off him so it costs him nothing would be a given.
Through my experiance with oxygenshell, i will never return to them, and i suggest no one else does. I have seen rude admins, rude sales management, but nothing like Oxygenshell. I thank him for buying the domain, but the service and help he gave was horrible, i know he bought it for me for free. However i did advertise on a web page that got enough hits to compencate for his 10 to 15 dollar loss!
