Moneybookers not allowing USA to send money

I got a wierd message today when I tried to send money with moneybookers. Here is what it said:
Quote:

Payments between US customers, and US customers and international customers using the Send Money service are not supported.

I would assume this is a large part of their business, so this is pretty strange. If anyone has any more info please feel free to share.

I think your best bet would be contacting MoneyBookers. I've noticed that they stopped accepting new sign-ups in for the US.
All the best,

RE:

I got the same message, which really doesn't make sense. At least they would explain why the decided to stop their US services not mentioning the fact that notice ahead of time would be appreciated! Does anyone know how to recover the balance from the account?

You can request a check to be sent to you or EFT to your bank account.

I'm assuming this was done for anti-fraud reasons... But could it be some kind of regulatory / legal reason?

I have had consistently bad experiences with moneybookers. Any time you try to withdraw your funds regardless how long they been sitting there the account becomes limited for outgoing payments.

that is mostly due to anti fraud or same kind of reasons, and also the region and location matters.
some of them have targeted just some regions to work with,i use to have also the same problems with the money bookers and finally got in link with a guy who provides with all offshore accounts through his links and than further i get it,probably just some wire and payments which seem to be non-accepted by the money bookers as he charges 1% of the payment which usually matters a lot to me as my payments are usually much big.
well if any one would like to work through him,let me know.
make sure the money he would be receiving should be through company acc other wire he charged 2% of the payment.but i would say that he is 100% legit.
you may contact him at "payhigh2get',this is his gmail address.
also give him my regards
cheers
