Hi,

Where are these servers housed?

Have you got an IP to ping and trace?

Sure, you can ping 81.29.64.1.

We haven't been assigned our IP block yet, waiting a few more days.

The servers are colocated in a data centre in Reading. The data centre has all the usual features - 24hour CCTV, UPS, air conditioning etc.

I'm getting serious packet loss to that IP, over 40%

Now that's very interesting. Could you possibly be kind enough to send me the traceroute and ping output aswell as some information of what sort of connection you're on and where you are geographically?

We've been monitoring it over the past few days without any sort of problem.

Since stephenM has not replied and I'm unable to contact him by pm or email could anyone else experiencing problems with our IP please contact us with details.

I notice that the author has reported packet loss problems before on another thread so I think it may be a problem with his connection rather than our own.

However we are always more than willing to investigate problems with our network.

Data center in reading? let me guess.... D e d i p o w e r ?? if this is true, id rather buy one from them directly. I had a dedicated server from them for about 3 months and the stability was terrible.
