A customer of mine has sent the following email to me;


Hello

I can't Read E-Mails , Mail was sent by cgi's "sendmail".

I can read E-mails , Mail was sent by other men.

I heard it. it is Cpanel's bug.

A directory should be made to
/home/username/mail/inbox
However,Directory made to
/home/username/mail/email-account/inbox

Therefore
I can't Read E-Mails , Mail was sent by cgi's "sendmail".
???

I ask investigation of you.




Anyone know what could be wrong? My WHM/CPANEL is 100% up to date.. I pride myself on that..

So what is this guy talking about or what "update" was not included in any normal dist.?

Have you checked the directory to see if it is like he says?
Have you tried sending mail from root and one from an outside mail box to see if it goes into his mail folder?

I think you need to ask him if it is his own cgi-script that he tries to use, and if he has set up the directories himself. I don't think cpanel is at fault here.
