View Full Version : Enom issues?

Anyone else having any issues with enom?
Yesterday I tried to create a subaccount for someone and to set the prices for them - but whenever I tried to set the prices it always said "you must supply at least 1 price" over and over again - and then it sets the account up with my own default pricing.

On top of that - I tried to register a domain name..say its blueblue.net - and it said it was available - it let me go through the whole process - purchase and preconfigure. Then when I received the confirmation email - it said the order had not gone through "Domain is unavailable".

Weird..but..okay?
So I contact the person letting them know what had happened and asking them to choose a different name - they said okay - how about blue-blue.net (example only) and I said okay I'll check it out.

So I check - its available - and i repeat the above process same as before.

when I get the confirmation email 10 minutes later - yet again it says domain is unavailable.

I emailed the person who setup my reseller account - and I emailed Enom support as well but enom hasnt responded yet to either of us.

Sooo - anyone else having the same issue ? Or not having any issues at all?

Just in case - if you have purchased a domain anytime today - and dont have it set to email you confirmation emails - you may want to login to your account and verify that the transaction went through. =)

thanks

I had the same problem with subaccounts, but they said it was resolved. I will try today to see.

Yes, I also had the same problem yesterday when setting prices for sub-accounts. This morning I tried again and it worked.

okay..so what about the 2 domains that were attempted to be registered - that now come up as unavailable? Even though if you do a WhoIs lookup at godaddy - or netsol - or opensrs or even enom itself it says that its not in the database - but the domain isnt available.

Do you think enom can clear it from their database as an invalid registration or something?

I suggest that you send email to info@enom.com so they can clear up the queue for you. Tell them the domains name.

Cheers.

One of my resellers had a similar problem last week. The apparent cause was the order processing code bugging out before it had assigned the domains to the relevant account. If you email your parent reseller or eNom themselves with the order number, login ID, and an explanation, they should be able to resolve it for you by assigning the domains to the correct account.

Best wishes,
Simon.
