Looking For server Monitoring Software

Hi guys!
I am looking for a server monitor software that use low resources.
------------------------------
My Server system Info:
Centos 4.7
Dual Processor Intel Xeon Quad 2.13 ghz
2 gb Ram
cpanel
------------------------------
I am looking for something that will send me an instant notification if a client is using way to many resources and nearly crashing my server.
Thanks

Nagios is a good monitoring solution if you want to keep the monitoring in-house.

Nagios is a free and good monitoring tool. Hyperspin is also a good monitoring tool but paid one. You can use PRM also which is free and tells about user who is using more resources. You can install it using the following url:

As you have cpanel, you can use Chkservd. Its default with cpanel. It will monitor all services every 8 minutes and restart which are down.
