They're all different. And that's not to mention that some of them are quite complex (Magento) and will require quite a bit of time to figure out and go live ......... others are simpler (OSCommerce or Mal's E-Commerce) so your go-live date will be sooner. But, all 3 of those carts are vastly different from one another. Another question is, how will you process payment? Not all carts accept all gateways, or payment means, so that's another important consideration. I recommend heading over to the E-Commerce section of this board and just sitting back and reading threads. All kinds of threads. The more you read, the more familiar you will get with various carts and how things work... and you'll also find out what carts are/are not recommended, and why.
