Thanks Button

I think it would be nice to have a Thank You button on posts... I've seen it on other forums.
Example:
Bear has been thanked 40 times in 10 threads.

If you have a "Thank you" button, also have a "Hit with a dead fish" button too.
Aussie Bob has been hit by a dead fish 87 times.

I love it!
I love both ideas really, you've got a "thank you" button, and a "dead fish" button. Not really a "reputation" thing, but it'd be amusing to see.

Agreed, not a rep thing at all - more of a "helpfulness" rating.

Only a thank you button would be helpful, otherwise you would see negative dead fish hits from members for absolutely no reason

Great idea! I'd also added a Donate button.
Example:
Sash has been donated $1.000.000 last week.

And then I could use this Thank you button to thank the donators and the Dead fish button to penalise the greedy ones. Thus all the buttons will be used.

I kinda like a Props button, and a Dead Fish button, and maybe even a Donations button. But what about a Button button?*SoftWareRevue has clicked the Button button 28,543 times.
