Domain - Buying - Godaddy - Escrow - Confused?

I am interested in a domain that is booked at godaddy, the domain was created on 06-Nov-08.
Me and the other party has almost agreed on the price. What I am confused about is, since it has been booked on 06-Nov-08, do you guys think the other party will be able to move this domain to my godaddy account(any 30 or 60 days restriction?)
How to go about the transaction that is safe for both the parties, does godaddy itself provide any such service, or should we involve some outside party like moniker for escrow.

Once u make settlement let other party push the domain to urs godaddy account. I think for this no need to wait 30 or 60 days. if check with godaddy they will do it. Otherwise if he get good offer he will sell to other party.
