cPanel Email + Outlook 2007

Hi, I seem to be having a lot of trouble with my cPanel/WHM installation where it comes to using Outlook 2007 as my email client.
The server will just not accept my password/login credentials. I recieve a dialog box asking me to re-enter the details, yet the details I enter are correct.
Any ideas?

Well the first thing is you likely need to enter your full email address when it asks for username (not just johndoe).
Apart from that you'd need to be more specific, are you using imap or pop etc ?

I have entered the whole of my email I am using POP3, I've just restarted the server and I'm still having the problem

This isn't a cpanel problem itself, but an Outlook problem. I've seen this so many times it's not even funny. Here's how to fix this:
Step 1:
Remove your account from outlook. If you have more than one, remove them all.
Step 2:
Shut down outlook (exit it).
Step 3:
Restart your PC.
Step 4:
Login to your control panel, and download the cpanel / outlook registry file (that's all it is). Do what is necessary to get outlook started up again, login, and you should be all good.
Now what causes this?
Well, there are a number of theories, or things that could cause this. Most often, this is caused by a registry change which affected outlook. This could ALSO be caused by you changing a cpanel email password.
This is all the more reason to use a real email client with real error reporting, rather than Outlook's garbage. If you're looking for alternatives, you may want to check out Barca, a very well put together Outlook replacement.
