Does anyone know of a hosting company called 'Virtual Empire' (www.virtualempire.com)? I am (was) a customer of theirs, and it appears they may have gone belly up.

I have been unable to ping my domain name, my name servers, their domain name, or any of their servers for the last 36 hours.

I've started the process of transferring my domain, just was wondering if anyone had any info.

The search isn’t bringing anything up….they could be having server problems but if it’s been 36 hrs then they probably have gone belly up.

Try giving them a call the domain was registered in 1997 which means they have been around a while :)

Thanks for the reply. Strangely enough I have been able to access some of their servers in the last 10 minutes. This thread gets RESULTS.... LOL. They must have had some serious problems for it to last that long. Needless to say I am proceeding with the transfer process......:)
