Just a quick FYI,

It appears there was a major fire at a Telus NOC early this morning affecting both their Velocity DSL and business relay connections. Slowly coming back up now, if you use either and were having a problem this was the cause.

This is news to me. Why these things happen only on 9/11 morning

A major fire happened in the NOC itself? That's bizarre, I've never heard of anything like that happening before. I hope the servers are alright/no one got hurt...
