North? South? Cheers Gary Man I just don't know mate. I have been in this country almost 2 years now, and I still don't know which way is north, south, east or west. I live near Carindale, if that helps? I used to be real good with direction, like I had an internal compass. Supposed it could be my age and all the metal on my face / ears :P We will have to get together have a few  and discuss taking over the world! Err.. did I just say that out loud? AussieHosts 09-18-2002, 07:11 AM anon-e-mouse, good stuff. Been up there on exercise a few times and plan to travel it extensively when the time comes to quit work and just go fishing. :) Sure Beau, we should catch up. I think we have a mutual acquaintance actually. I would say Carindale is South. I draw a line from the Westgate Bridge, through the City and out along the Western Freeway to divide it. Very funky offices I must admit! What were U working as? Very nice offices! I was surprised the first time I went there; I used to love the gardens, surrounding bushland, etc... nice to walk through during lunchtime. The only bad thing was that I had to travel 3 hours there and 3 hours home again. Anyway, I spent some time there in IBM Global Services doing internal tech stuff, etc. I forget the building number - but if you walk in through reception, go right and swipe through the doors, walk to the very end, go right and I was in the 2nd last building on the top floor... Hard to explain but if you worked there you are probably familiar with where I'm talking about :) --Shaun Onture 09-19-2002, 01:42 PM Perth :look: universal2001 09-19-2002, 02:57 PM antarctica Matrix 09-19-2002, 05:04 PM universal2001, clear out yoru Private message box as its too full to send you mail. Just a pity the Crow's weren't allowed to have their hard earned home finals to freshen up a bit. 4 weeks on the road when they finish 3rd is disgusting. Anyway, Collingwood will be belted by Brisbane next week. :P A devastated Crows supporter. boing 09-21-2002, 04:14 AM Melbourne, Victoria here. |
