As in the title... My favorite domain name whois info is showing: Expiration Date: 2008-11-18
So please let me know what should I do to get this domain?
Should I backorder it with GoDaddy or it's waste of money?

There's still a week to go before it expires. If you think the odds of that happening are good, go ahead and back order. If it's with GD, that's where to back order it for the best chances, I'd suggest.

I'm no expert. If it were me, I'd back order it just to have the order in. AFAIK, GoDaddy will hold a backorder indefinitely, so what harm would there be?

Wait until it expires, you have no guarantee that the current registrant would leave it.
Once it's expired go for it, there is a grace period after the expiration date, there will be some weeks until you can catch it

Who is the current registrar? Why do you think the existing owner will not renew it?

The domains are ususally kept in a 30 day redemption period. So, the registrant was a chance to save their domain if they want. I would backorder it asap if you want it. Because you might not be the only person who wants it.

A lot of people wait until near the expiration date to renew. I personally renew the last few days before the expiration date.

back ordering is waste very difficult to get it. Who is the registrar?. If godaddy they will keeep all expired good domians with them and sell it for high price
