So I guess I didn't get on the right bandwagon and get WHMCS so I have AccountLab Plus (via Fantastico DL).
They offer integration of the following registrars:
Directi
eNom
OpenSRS
PlanetDomain
Resllerone (now Resellone.net)
Could I get a recommendation or comparison of their services based on your experiences? Some don't seem to mention setup/deposits and seems to only charge for the domain purchase which is ideal in my book, we haven't launched yet so capital for deposit is tight.
Thanks in advance,
Shaun

Have you done search for these companies here? All of them are quite big registrars which have well established companies.
What sort of review are you looking for and what are the most important things for you you pay attention on while choosing domain name registrar?

Well I am new to all of this and am not quite sure what I am looking for in them, I was hoping I could learn from other's experiences. So far, one criteria has been minimal or no deposit/setup fee. As well as the common TLD's, com/net/org, priced at or under $10.00. I don't know if this is possible, but it fits our current business plan.
So far I have only researched them on their site and some seem to exclude some information or I have just missed it.

I've never personally used ALP however if you are not deadset on using it then there are many providers who offer a paid billing system free of charge. If you don't want to jump on the WHMCS bandwagon then you can also look into ClientExec or ModernBill.

Well the only reason I am not is I've already invested money and time integrating it and setting it up.
What do you mean by paid billing system? I am interested in which domain registrar of those in the list above is recommended based of price, set up fee, per-domain fees, etc.

Out of those I would choose OpenSRS aka Tucows and or Directi. What I like about both is that they offer free whois privacy for you and your clients. I think Directi is chepaer than OpenSRS. Not sure though. Resellone is nice too, domains for $6.99
All the best,
