Newbie needs advice.....please

I'm starting a UK based charity, but with USA connections. I think it makes good sense, but do you, for a modest annual fee to buy .co.uk / .com / .org / org.uk extensions for our domain name that I will be registering this week. I believe I can point all these extensions to my website?
I am new to all this so could you give me the names of a few registrars that are reliable/good reputations and with reasonable prices and importantly for me a fairly straightforward control panel with good support.
I will probably be signing up with innohosting.com for a resellers package (since I will eventually have a number of connected charity sites) and I see they have a $6.95 Domain Reseller account included in the hosting package. Should I sign up with innohosting.com and then use my $6.95 Domain Reseller account to buy the 4 extensions above myself?
Or should I do it all another.....simpler.....way Thanks in advance for any advice.......I need it!!

I will not recommend using their domain reseller to purchase your account. Go with NameCheap, they have a better interface and domain comes with a free PositiveSSL and their domains is cheaper compared to InnoHosting's if you do a little research.

Why not? Just make sure that you will be administrator of the domain name.

Anyway that is good idea to not keep all eggs in the one basket.

For your information, IH's domain reseller's add-on is a bit expensive. Try asking them for the price. Their domains are from NEO, which won't be giving them such low offer, so they are selling under the table, while earning from other addons.

$6.95 for .com/.net/.org, that's still expensive?

So far, I'm using namecheap and never try others.
Maybe you can get more survey on it before you decide.

Interesting observation; but if all the OP wants is a domain (or few), surely their (IH) offer isnt bad and for a domain only option is win - win for the OP.
As I have said time and time again, resellers balance their books how they want too.
Just because they choose to sell a .com for 6.95, doesnt mean that they are "technically" loosing on it. They might be buying other domain TLDs cheaper.
Who knows, surely only IH do.

Not to smear IH's name, but according to them as I had asked before, mail forwarding, domain forwarding but if all the OP wants is a domain (or few), surely their (IH) offer isnt bad and for a domain only option is win - win for the OP.

Yeah. Selling a .com for $6.95, they must have something to earn back the profit.

the $6.95 is under the cost of the domains
