i want to build a server-a group dns (ns1/ns2),
i want to let people set dns to my server-a group,
and i point the A record from the server-a group to other servers,
i know i can do it via ssh my centos server,
or install cpanel with cPanel DNS Only feature,
but i think it is to expensive to run the service.
is any way or software that i can run the A record setting like cPanel DNS Only does ?

cpanel DNS only is free, why not use that? You can also use ssh scripts to copy DNS records to the slave quite easily. 4PSA has a DNS manager program, but it's not too cheap (cheaper than a control panel though).

do you mean i may install it ( cpanel DNS only )on server-a-1,
and use scripts to copy the setting to others to do the backup ?

cpanel DNS only is a full cpanel/whm without a license key, so only the DNS features work.

Anyway, just use bind zone transfer no excessive control panel and uses hardly any resources.
