Website for Gaming Server

I am starting a gaming hosting service. I am very new at this, but its a passion for me. I love the gaming myself, and purchased a dedicated server. I need a good website thats interactive for the assigning, selling, and control of the gaming servers. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am on a budget of about $500 is this reasonable for set up? I also am in the process of getting my DBA and registering my business name. I don't plan on being a huge compnay. I just want to provide a quality service and lower price to my 400+ gaming friends. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Sounds like you're passionate about it, that's the most important thing; running a business is hard and you need to perceiver! In regards to your website, I would recommend going with shared hosting with a company such as downtownhost which would be separate to your dedicated, so if your gameserver(s) went down, you'd still be able to provide support.
In regards to getting the actual website set up, $500 is pretty good, you'd be able to get a good customer built website with WHMCS integration for that. I'd recommend checking out the web services for sale forum, send a few emails out and get some quotes and examples!
Goodluck!

I am unsure of you have thought of it yet, but you will most likely need a control panel of some sort (I assume you want to sell slots). If your planning to go the windows route, then I highly recommend tcadmin. But if you are simply looking for hosting for your "front end", then please disregard my comment.
Cheers.

He already has a dedicated server. I see most of your posts are related to design, so moved to Web Design and Content where you might get recommendations for a suitable designer.

Buddy actually sells gaming severs like this too, I think they payed in the range of $400-$550 for their website.
So price range your totally fine, just make sure they can do all the programing too, most the game servers sites have a lot of that.
But good luck with this, let me know if you want me to ask my friend any questions about this
